Hi folks, just back from Afan, love it more each time I go and I'm definitely getting faster and faster but there's one obstacle that I keep messing up on... rocks!!!
What's the best way to approach a longish section of big rocky steps? There's a few sections like this at Afan and generally I freeze up and ride them slowly (brain gets in the way), sometimes chuck myself down them and get dangerously out of shape, sometimes stupidly take a foot out half way down which really messes it up. Should I be keeping the speed up and jump over as much as possible? If there's one big rock in the trail I can deal with it easily now (you should have seen me on Jetlag yesterday, I was jumping of everything

)
If you've got any suggestions they would be very welcome, I want to make my riding as fast and as smooth as I can.
If anyone could suggest a skills day that you think I would like that would be good as well.
Thanks!
