What a great Beastway race last night, another real battle between Martin and Steve and it was fantastic to have another MBRO35 girlie out. Fiona, I really hope you enjoyed it! You did so well, have you seen the results?
Race 8 Initial Results

Martin H, I hope your knee has recovered today, you were limping rather worryingly

Here's my graph of everyone that's done more than one race, more stats to come when they publish the lap times.

Gotta say I loved the course last night, it had everything in it rather than just being a whole bunch of short uphill slogs. Even though I was supposed to be racing I was jumping off the jumps down at the bottom corner and getting higher and higher each lap, haha! I wish they're had the photographers down there (I know, I'm a showoff)!

I also wish I'd started training properly at the start of all this rather than at the end as I can feel it working already
HRM + road bike = superfast ...eventually!

Well done guys!
Everyone seems to be creeping up the placings every week, almost a double 1st in the Categories for the family Mahon, if it weren't for Ian and Martin of course! 17th though Pogue- your highest yet, looks like North Weald didn't do you any harm the night before!!!?
If it ain't broke, it probably soon will be.

Sarah, good work and well done last night.

I had to laugh at the end as throughout the evening felt really off the pace, enjoyed the course but felt tired from busy day. Then when putting bike on carrier realised the rear wheel would hardly turn due to locked on brake! - tip for next week - have a working bike lol

Keep smiling
Ben

What a race. The best course so far, flowing and fast. Thanks for all the support, lots of great cheering as usual.

Shame about the punture, Si.

Martin, mend quick.

We are doing so well, MBRo35 all over the rankings.

Im the same Sarah, training should have taken place before the racing started. Never mind.

Backsey, your super fast, that last last was legendary.

Oh, and so sorry to rush off. I started my night shift at 2200 and left me tell you, by this morning at 8am I was ready for sleep
