Kaff, luckily I don't need them, already in a different reality from the rest of you.

Seriously though, it's been a couple of years since I did any biking on roads and I'd forgotten what flipping idiots pedestrians are. They see you coming, they're looking right at you, so what do they do? Step right in front of you! I know me and my new bike look completely fabulous but you don't have to get that close do you

ok, done ranting now, going running...

It could be worse a month or so back a Pedestrian had a go at me for cycling on the path, it was a cycle path!
I think anyone that stupid you should be legally obliged to run down as it would improve the world gene pool

More importantly NEW BIKE?!?! What have you got?

"They see you coming, they're looking right at you, so what do they do?"

This is the classic 'look but don't see' you'll soon develop a 6th sense for.

Although it is dangerous, pedestrians stepping in front of you can sometimes be fun. I have seen some people literally leap out of the way, like they jumped out of their skins when they finally saw me. I find it best to chuckle and cycle on like nothing ever happened.

Probably it's not ideal but sometimes I'll brake really hard at the last second to frighten them - maybe then they will look/thinkin twice before crossing and save an actual accident the next time with someone on a boris bike grabbing fistfulls of brake lever with nothing happening. Seriously those things are death traps. Hit a pedestrian in one of those and it'll be carnage.
