A couple of us Beastway-ers are meeting at Swinley on Sunday for a bit of a blast round. Meeting at 11am in the Lookout carpark. I'm planning on following my GPX from the last time I was there as well as parts of the Gorrick race loop if I can find it...

Let me know if you'd like to come along, be warned though, there's not going to be much stopping

Nearly forgot, the Blackwall tunnel is closed all damn weekend so you'll have to drive round the other way if you usually use the tunnel.

No one else for Swinley? How about if I promise not to be in race mode and stop occasionally.

Come on, you know you want to! Labyrinth, Corkscrew, amazing trail full of Berms (the Berm Worm?), the "secret" trail that happens to be closest to the Lookout...

Nice little ride round Swinley today regardless of the crappy weather, see the map below:

Pic of one of the crispier bits from the fire in May, it still smelled really strongly of smoke!

Thanks for leading Martin, that drop off you did was very impressive Next time I won't make rubbish excuses about race tyres and go for it myself!

If some of you are wondering who superlight is, yup, it's me. I'm trying to keep a lower profile and not be such a lunatic (but to be honest I'm getting bored of it already )

Gratuitous song of the day (stuff like this sounds amazing driving along in the "campervan of dreams"):
ride like you mean it
