To all of you who say your too small and then get on your road bikes and ride off (on 29 inch wheels) here is a change for you to try one some out, and find you can ride them just as easy as you ride your road bikes.

Ruttland cycles Grafham shop ( about 40 mins drive away ) are doing another open day for 29er on Sunday 29th April.
offering the chance to demo a number of 29er bikes again from brands such as Kona, Scott, Giant, Whyte, Trek & Specialized free of charge.
For more information and updates, please visit the following link www.rutlandcycling.com/29er.

No I have just been give some much advice by poeple in the group on how 29er should perform. by those who have never riden one, I thought it would be good if more people trid one. or people saying they are not tall and cant ride 29ers even if they ride road bikes with 29 inch wheels.

plus the are so much better for Epping than 26er more people should be riding them.

I borrowed the Colonel's 29er once. I really liked it. It made going over stuff much smoother.

Kaff, I agree and I'm a short arse. I rode the Colonel's Niner around Swinley last year. It was a very nice experience and judging by how Bazza has been riding his giant Giant Anthem around the local trails they work really well at home too.

Big wheels keep on turnin.....................
Mine's a pint, unless you want to buy me two!

I do it most weekends and have often done it in that sort of time.

Have you tried using second gear or high.

Something new and streamlined for all you 29er perverts...
http://www.opencycle.com/hardtail-O-1.0/intro/

Price is a bit ouchy, just the frame is $2700, shame, could definitely make space for a carbon hartail
