Forum Setting Latest post first

A few people have asked me how to display the last post first in the forum topics.  The answer is that you have to do a bit of DIY.

So, get the hammer and screw drivers to the ready.  Here we go!

NOTE, ONCE THESE STEPS ARE COMPLETED THE CHANGES WILL TAKE PLACE, BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO LOG IN TO HAVE EFFECT.

Follow these steps

Log in

username and password please

Click on your profile picture

If you dont have a profile picture, get it sorted.  Click on your pic to open the next window.

Click edit

Yes that's it, click on the "EDIT" button on the top right.

Click forum settings

Your one click away from the change, click the Forum Settings tab.

Change preferred message ordering

By default this is set to first post last (at the bottom).  Change to last post first to have the latest posts at the top of the topic list.
