Bank holiday Tuesday was a little short on takers, but nevertheless we had a great ride.
It was just Simon armed with a repaired bike & super warm gloves & me. I tried my very hardest not to give him ear ache! A miracle i know but i think i achieved it.

We headed out from a ridiculously icy car park up to The Graveyard, No Name Corner, followed over ENR towards Strawberry Ponds. Down the rooty section of Earls Path then up to Robin Hood.
A quick early tea stop at Bradley's, which warmed us up a treat ,the conditions were much more icy than Monday, very scary.
Next we began on the Up's & Down's bridle path which proved much too icy so we retreated to High Beech via single track.
Next we took the route across the double logs, then took a differant route which only lead us right back to HB. So again over double logs this time going across to car park back over ENR towards W & V. Kept left here to Jacks Hill. The descent here was extremely slippery but great fun.
We took the hard left hand climb out to The Ridges. Now beginning our return via Big View, all the bridle paths were so icy it was good to be on single tracks. Back through HB again going back to car park via back of church & another slippery turn of Lippetts Hill. Simon & I parted here & I returned unscathed to car park.
Long hard ride straight after the day before but fab day, cheers Si.
